Join us for an afternoon of innovative design solutions from D.C.-area teens! Explore the second floor of the Museum as two design programs showcase their work.

  • Teen designers from the Design Apprenticeship Program present their designs for flexible seating for Museum visitors, and share how they collaborated with design professionals to fabricate finished products inspired by the Bauhaus School.
  • Informed by principles of landscape architecture, urban planning, and engineering, teens in the National Building Museum-supported Studio DC program discuss their design solutions to address neighborhood water quality issues.

Teen programs at the National Building Museum are generously supported in part by the Hattie M. Strong Foundation.

Free. All ages.
