Activities for Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts will take part in hands-on activities exploring engineering, architecture and being green.

  • Build a green roofed house using soil and grass seeds.
  • Recycle and reuse everyday materials and turn them into original art.
  • How do we get energy from wind? Learn about wind energy while making pinwheels.
  • Draw a building plan.
  • Get inspired by nature and create your own wall paper design using leaf rubbings.

At timed intervals throughout the day participants can explore how the historic home of the National Building Museum was designed and built.  Tours will be led by the Museum's team of Junior Docents.

Prepaid registration required by Thursday, April 15. Walk-in registration based on availability. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

All child participants must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adult attendance is FREE.
