Maestros de Arquitectura is a lecture series created by LA.IDEA DC to recognize Latin American architects for their professional journey and accomplishments in the U.S. and globally. This lecture aims to inspire the Latino design community and reach a multicultural and interdisciplinary group of professionals.
2022 Maestro de Arquitectura honors Francisco González Pulido
Pulido is a Mexican architect noted for his expressive yet rational design approach. From 1992 through 1998, he worked on his own and in 1999 he joined the Chicago firm Murphy/Jahn (which he renamed JAHN in 2012). He has worked on a wide range of building typologies with a strong emphasis on the design of skyscrapers and airports, in America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In the Fall of 2017, Francisco Gonzalez Pulido left JAHN to establish his own international architectural practice, FGP Atelier.
