See how a working 1950's era pier at The Wharf development in Washington, D.C. is being transformed into Washington’s only commercial office building projecting over the Potomac River. Housing the operations of Entertainment Cruises, the LEED Gold building includes roof terraces with city and river views. Developer Hoffman Madison Waterfront LLC and architect Adam McGraw, AIA, a founding principal of Studio MB, lead a tour of the project, due to open in Winter 2018, and highlight design features and challenges of building three stories of new structure on an existing concrete and timber pile pier.
