This workshop introduces the principles of landscape architecture and explores how they are correspondent to the elements of visual art. Integrating artful think strategies, participants will document, through photography and drawing, the designed elements of a nearby park. Through the process of observing, documenting, and describing the design of an outdoor public space, participants will contemplate landscape architecture as an art form that incorporates an artistic process.

Recommended for teachers of grades 5-12, any subject.
