The design of Silver Spring, Maryland’s new 74,000 square-foot Cresthaven Elementary School incorporates the natural conditions of the steeply sloping site to provide increased daylight. Rachel Chung and Philip Anderson, AIA, LEED AP, with Sorg Architects, lead a tour of the school, which is expected to achieve LEED Silver certification. 2.0 LU HSW–SD (AIA)
