Livable Communities: Healthy Neighborhoods |
If you have already created a profile on www.nbm.org, please sign in to autopopulate your information.Studies show that our homes and neighborhoods play a large role in public health, especially for an aging population. Walkable, safe, and connected communities promote exercise, access to healthy food options, and an active social life. Panelists discuss how planning, design, and community engagement help create livable communities for older adults and everyone. This program complements the exhibition House & Home, which will be open to attendees before the discussion.
$12 Members; $12 Students; $20 Non-members. Prepaid registration required. Walk-in registration based on availability. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
