Tour the renovation of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) headquarters, which includes a state-of-the-art meeting, reception, and exhibition center, as well as a three-story atrium with natural-light harvesting technology that brings daylight into the building’s core. Abram Goodrich, AIA, with Gensler’s Washington, D.C., office shows how the new design will embody the profession’s core value of stewardship, reflect the society’s leadership in the industry, and serve as a model for sustainable building. The project is designed to achieve LEED Platinum and WELL Silver ratings. Because this is an active construction site, expect some uneven flooring and stair climbing.
