Sukkah City x DC: Community Day

Meet the architects and explore the public display of creative sukkahs while you learn about Sukkot and participate in an arts workshop, holiday activities, family story time, and a letter-writing campaign in support of eradicating homelessness.

Refreshments available for purchase from DC Central Kitchen.

Presented in collaboration with Avodah, DC Public Library, Edlavitch DCJCC, Museum of the Bible, PJ Library, Project Create, Sixth & I, and Yachad. Featuring visual artist, Jessica Valoris.

Support our neighbors in need and donate face masks for SOME. Homemade and store-bought masks are welcome, open packages are accepted.

Free. Registration requested. Register here, and be automatically entered into a drawing for museum swag and four complimentary club tickets (food, drink and parking pass included) for Washington Nationals vs Boston Red Sox on Oct 3.

This event takes place on the Museum’s West Lawn where masks are suggested. If inclement weather forces the program inside the Museum, masks will be required for anyone age 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status.
