LaHouse Resource Center, an educational demonstration house on the Louisiana State University campus, tapped the expertise of numerous prominent building scientists, designers, and educators to blend high-efficiency, resilience, health, convenience, appeal, and economic benefits in its four high-performance residential building systems.

Dr. Claudette Hanks Reichel, LSU AgCenter Extension Professor and LaHouse Director, will present highlights and insights into how and why LaHouse achieved and stimulates “building solution fusion”, the balanced integration of all the above attributes for the region’s climate, hazards, resources, and people. Part of our Building in the 21st Century series.
