Unfortunately, this weekend’s STEAM Saturday is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The Museum will still be open to the public from 10am-4pm and the Autodesk “Future Communities” interactive city-planning computer game that is typically a part of STEAM Saturday will be available to use throughout the day!
The second Saturday of each month, families are invited to join the National Building Museum for STEAM activities related to our new Brick City exhibition. Each activity challenges children to think creatively and experimentally using principles of design thinking and engineering. From building with LEGO bricks to working with AI to plan a city, each child will solve problems large and small and come to a greater understanding of the built world around us.
STEAM Saturdays are targeted towards children in grades 2nd-8th and their caregivers and occur monthly on the second Saturday.
FREE with museum admission, registration strongly encouraged.
