The National Building Museum invites individual families to
register for the Museum’s Homeschool Day on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
You must register for each program separately. Pre-registration is required by the end of the day on Monday, November 6, 2017. Walk-in registration will be available for any programs not filled during pre-registration. You are welcome to register for both a morning program and an afternoon program. If the program you're interested in is sold out, consider gathering a group of homeschool students and registering for a group program.
Green Roof, 4-6 year olds, 10:30 am to 12 noon
Designing for the Delta, 7-9 year olds, 10 am to 12 noon
Fuller’s Fantastic Geodesic Dome, 10-14 year olds, 10 am to 12 noon
Designing on the Wild Side, 4-6 year olds, 1 pm to 2:30 pm
Roller Coaster Rally, 7-9 year olds, 1 pm to 3 pm
Think Global, Build Local, 10-14 year olds, 1 pm to 3 pm
Beyond the Walls: St. Elizabeths, 15-17 year olds, 1 pm to 2:30 pm
Each $10 ticket covers one child’s participation in one homeschool program. There is no cost for adults to chaperone the homeschool programs. This program ticket does not include admission to the Museum’s exhibitions. Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If families would like to visit the Museum’s exhibitions before or after their programs on Homeschool Day, discounted exhibition tickets may be purchased online during pre-registration or on the day of your visit. The cost is $5 per participating student and $5 per adult and/or tag-a-long sibling.
