Duke-Ellington-1.jpgTour the transformational renovations and additions to this 1898 National Landmark structure, home to this renowned institution for the visual and performing arts. Led by key members of the design and construction team (GCS-SIGAL and LBA-CGS JV), discover how this 265,000-square-foot modernization balances restoring and respecting the historic character of the original buildings while creating new and dramatically expanded academic and performance venues. Highlights of the tour include the new egg-shaped 800-seat theater supported on five columns above the floor of the four-story central atrium, additional performance spaces and extensive studios and practice rooms.  Because this is an active construction site, expect some uneven flooring and stair climbing.
