Bike Tour: U.S. Capitol to RFK Campus

Ride with Museum curator Susan Piedmont-Palladino along East Capitol Street, exploring the neighborhoods, streetscape, and open space between the U.S. Capitol Building and Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. Ideas to improve the Anacostia watershed will be highlighted, including natural resource enhancements that could be integrated into the redevelopment of the RFK campus. Participants should be comfortable with street cycling. The Museum does not provide bikes or helmets.

$25 Museum Member | $35 Non-member. Registration begins September 17 by calling 202.272.2448 ext. 3304 during business hours, and will be assigned based on space availability. On-site registration is not available. 

The main entrance gate of Robert F Kennedy Memorial Stadium at East Capitol St NE. RFK was the first major stadium designed specifically as a multisport facility for both football and baseball and is the current home for Major League Soccer’s D.C. United.
