Green Community

Transforming Grayville into Greenville

FREE. Workshop for District of Columbia public school and public charter school educators only. Green Community is recommended for teachers of students in grades 5-8.

Learn how to bring city planning and “green” building concepts into your classroom at this educator workshop. Museum staff will model lesson plans, demonstrate teaching tools and explore included materials from Green Community, the National Building Museum’s classroom-ready curriculum kit. Each participating teacher will receive a Green Community Teaching Kit ($110 value) at no cost.

This workshop is open to educators at DC public schools and DC public charter schools.
