Vanessa Kassabian, director of design at the Oslo- and New York-based architecture firm Snøhetta, discusses the studio's multidisciplinary approach to design, which has resulted in a variety of innovative projects. She presents recent projects, which include the Alexandria Library in Egypt, the Oslo Opera House, and the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York.
