Spotlight on Design: Moody Nolan

Date:
Thursday, February 24, 2022
Time:
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Texas Southern University Library Learning CenterMeet Jonathan Moody, AIA, CEO of Moody Nolan, the largest Black-owned architecture firm in the US. Discover how the national practice attracts diverse talent and builds on the legacy of influential minority-owned architecture and design firms in the United States -- in an industry where only 2 percent of licensed architects are African American. And, explore how the firm has a design impact that is visible across industry sectors -- from museums, healthcare facilities and sports arenas to award-winning contributions to educational projects, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Columbus, Ohio-based Moody Nolan is the recipient of the American Institute of Architect’s 2021 Firm Award.  Mr. Moody will share the firm’s work philosophy and discuss recent projects, including the International African American Museum in Charleston, South Carolina. This program is proudly presented in February in celebration of Black History Month.

This program will be live streamed via Zoom Webinar. Upon completion of your payment here, you will receive a confirmation with instructions on how to register for the Zoom event. Architects seeking learning units or Certificates of Completion must provide their information when registering for the Zoom event.
