Planning Tour: White Flint Maryland

Two Trains at White Flint Metro.

When planning began for the new White Flint district in Montgomery County, Maryland, 37% of its 430 acres were covered in surface parking lots. To build a more walkable community, the county formed a 30-year plan to embrace transit-oriented, mixed-use development. Lindsay Hoffman, executive director of Friends of White Flint, leads a tour of this exciting area.
