Family Workshop: Repetition in Wood Modules

Date:
Saturday, August 21, 2021
Time:
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Make your own piece of art with popsicle sticks and a glue gun. D.C.-area sculptor Foon Sham, who designed and built the Maze of Knowledge in the Museum’s Great Hall, shows you how combining repeating shapes can create original and fantastic small structures that you can take home.

This program is FREE and open to the general public, but space is limited. For this workshop, general public registration begins on Friday, August 13. A limited number of tickets will be available to Museum members only starting on Thursday, August 12.

These workshops are designed for ages 7 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

Presented as part of the National Building Museum's Summer Block Party Inside Out
