Housing matters to everyone. This conference explores how having stable, secure and affordable housing affects education, children’s health, and older adults’ ability to age in place.

The day-long event showcases ways to integrate programs and services to achieve improved outcomes for individuals, families, and communities. Key leaders, researchers, practitioners, and advocates from housing, education, health, and aging discuss practical and cross-platform solutions with local, state, and federal policymakers.

The agenda builds on the How Housing Matters initiative supported by The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and efforts of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to utilize housing as a platform for improving quality of life.

Bios for speakers can be found here and are added as they are received. You may read the current conference agenda here. Supplementary materials for the conference can be read and downloaded here.
