Transforming Grayville into Greenville

FREE. Workshop for Pennsylvania educators only. The Green Community Teaching Kit is recommended for teachers of students in grades 5-8.

Learn how to bring city planning and “green” building concepts into your classroom at this educator workshop. Museum staff will model lesson plans, demonstrate teaching tools and explore materials from Green Community, the National Building Museum’s classroom-ready curriculum kit. Each participating teacher will receive a Green Community Teaching Kit ($110 value) at no cost.

This workshop will take place on the campus of the California University of Pennsylvania.

This workshop is open to educators at schools in the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan area including the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland and the cities of Pittsburgh, McKeesport, Clairton, Lower Burrell and all others in the metro area.
