Frontera ProjectThe Frontera Project brings Mexican and American artists together in a unique, bi-lingual, interactive performance. Fusing theater, movement, music and play, this dynamic experience engages the audience in a compassionate, often joyous conversation about the Mexican / American border that lifts up human stories which are often lost. The Frontera Project, with its specific focus on Tijuana/San Diego, celebrates the richness, complexity, and humanity of Fronterizo life. Before the performance, explore the National Building Museum's major exhibition The Wall/El Muro: What is a Border Wall? to examine the border wall from the perspective of architecture and design. The exhibition encourages visitors to be curious and engaged in the international conversation about the border.
