The new program date will be posted in the Museum's print calendar and website when finalized.* The New York City AIDS memorial will commemorate over 100,000 New Yorkers who have died from AIDS during the 30-year epidemic. Urban planners Christopher Tepper and Paul Kelterborn discuss the global design competition and architect Mateo Pavia, RA, principal, studio a+i, joins them to present his firm’s winning memorial design. Keith Fox, president of McGraw Hill Construction and chairman of the New York City AIDS Memorial Board of Directors, moderates a panel discussion among them. This program is co-presented with the Municipal Art Society in celebration of World AIDS Day. A portion of ticket purchases goes toward the New York City AIDS Memorial organization to support its construction. 1.5 LU HSW (AIA) / 1.5 CM (AICP) / 1.5 LA CES (ASLA) $12 Members; $12 Students; $20 Non-members.
