Construction Watch Tour: 11141 Georgia Avenue

CWT_11141GeorgiaAvenue.jpg11141 Georgia Avenue is an adaptive use of and addition to a 1960s office building turned high-rise apartment building adjacent to the Wheaton Metro station. Representatives with Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group, Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, and Bonstra Haresign Architects lead a tour of this 157,466-square-foot project that offers 194 residential units and rooftop amenities and is seeking LEED Silver certification.

Open only to Museum members, $35. Members of The Corinthians, The Builders, and The Professional Circle receive advance registration beginning February 14, by calling 202.272.2448 from 10 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday.

General membership registration begins at 10 am on February 21, and is assigned based on space availability.

Please note that most tours require extensive stair climbing. On-site registration is not available.
