Talk: Architects Across Generations
Architect and philanthropist Beverly Willis joins CEO and entrepreneur Paola Moya of Marshall Moya Design for a conversation about their perspectives as professional women from different generations (Beverly is 89 and Paola is 36).
Within the context of contemporary global Women’s Marches and
during Women’s History Month, they share their inspirations, challenges and
opportunities and discuss broader issues all design professionals face today, including the civic role of architects, technological advancements and innovation in the design field. Aileen
Kwun, author of Twenty Over Eighty: Conversations on a Lifetime
in Architecture and Design moderates. The book features a career spanning interview with Beverly Wills. A book signing follows the program.
