During the four weeks of Investigating Where We Live, teens from the District of Columbia and the Washington metropolitan area use digital photography, writing, and original artwork to explore, document, and interpret the built environment in Washington, D.C. The 2012 exhibition features photos and writings that investigate the Anacostia neighborhood. Join us for a visual journey, as the participants reveal their fresh perspectives on this historic neighborhood.

The exhibition is on view to the public from July 28, 2012 through May 26, 2013.

Major funding for Investigating Where We Live is provided by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.  Additional support for outreach programs is provided by The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation; Clark Charitable Foundation; The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Inc.; Sunrise Foundation; and The Tower Companies, among others.
