Join the National Building Museum and the National Cherry Blossom Festival® for two days of hands-on activities and dynamic performances, all part of the 8th annual celebration honoring the gift of trees.
Channel your inner artist or architect and participate in hands-on crafts and design activities presented by the National Building Museum, Safeway, The Textile Museum, National Children’s Museum, and others.
- Build Cha-shitsu tea house structures and Soji screens
- Construct a paper torii gate
- Make wafuku-clothed paper dolls
- Produce a cherry blossom tree from popcorn
Enjoy performances led by Nen Daiko taiko drummers, Kaution Dance Kru, Brooklyn Youth Chorus, and youth arts groups from D.C. and across the country.
Bring your camera to take your picture with Snoopy, the Lorax, and other friendly characters.
