Design Apprenticeship Program II Final Presentation |
This semester, D.C. teens collaborated with design professionals to build Little Free Libraries for community gardens that will encourage local residents to connect with each other through a "take a book, return a book" system. Design teams used salvaged and upcycled materials from Community Forklift to construct the libraries. During this final presentation, teen participants will share how their library design uniquely represents a local community garden. We encourage attendees to bring a book in good condition to donate.
