Construction Watch Tour: The Concordia

The Concordia, a mid-century apartment building located at a critical shift in the city’s street grid, is being completely re-fitted for intensified use as corporate extended stay housing.  David Haresign, FAIA, leads a tour of this 121-unit project, which features a masonry rain screen, projecting glass and metal bays, high efficiency building envelope and building systems, planters and green screens, and is seeking LEED Gold certification.  2.0 LU HSW–SD (AIA)

Open only to Museum members, $35. Members of The Corinthians, The Builders, and The Professional Circle receive advance registration beginning Monday, November 12, by calling 202.272.2448 from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

General membership registration begins at 10 am on Monday, November 19, and will be assigned based on space availability.
