design principles are being applied to the project. The tour ends at
nearby Union Market where the group continues to discuss DeafSpace design, urban redevelopment, and
streetscape planning in D.C.
Urban Salons illuminate the past, present, and future of the built environment in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The program consists of an interactive site visit led by knowledgeable guides, and a post-tour converstion with fellow explorers in a nearby cafe to share thoughts, insights, and questions about the site visit experience.
