Construction Watch Tour: O Street Market

 
O St MarketThe historic O Street Market is undergoing restoration as the centerpiece of a mixed-use development covering two city blocks in Washington, D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood. Project manager Andrew Taylor, AIA, with Shalom Baranes Architects, leads a tour of this million-square-foot project, which includes apartment buildings, senior living residences, a hotel, and a Giant grocery store housed in the original market building. This tour is offered in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month.

Open only to Museum members, $35. Members of The Corinthians, The Builders, and The Professional Circle receive advance registration beginning April 15, by calling 202.272.2448 from 10 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday.

General membership registration begins at 10 am on April 22 and will be assigned based on space availability.

Please note that most tours require extensive stair climbing. Walk-in registration for tours is not available.
