Construction Watch Tour: Memorial to Victims of the Ukrainian Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 / Holodomor Memorial

Holodomor is the Ukrainian word for death by starvation and refers to the genocidal famine that Ukraine endured in 1932-1933 as a result of Soviet policies. Larysa Kurylas, architect and memorial designer, and Mary Kay Lanzillotta, architect with Hartman-Cox Architects, lead a tour of this memorial, which features a granite wall and a cast bronze sculpture panel depicting a field of wheat.
