Marlon Blackwell Architects, recipient of the 2016 Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in Architecture, melds vernacular traditions and modernist, abstract form to create architecture that responds to the unique aspects of its physical and cultural context. Marlon Blackwell, FAIA, co-founding principal of the Fayetteville, Arkansas studio, presents the firm's influences, design-process, and projects that include Keenan Tower House, St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church, Gentry Public Library, and the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration is for event planning purposes only and does not guarantee a seat. Online registration for Museum programs closes at midnight the day before the scheduled program.
