Chelina Odbert, founding principal of Kounkuey Design Initiative, discusses the intersection of gender equity and racial and environmental justice, and elaborates on her work developing the World Bank Handbook for Gender-Inclusive Urban Planning and Design for a global context.
Odbert will be joined in conversation with Horacio Christian Terraza, lead urban specialist of the World Bank.
This program is presented as part of the National Building Museum’s INTERSECTIONS series, investigating the relationship between diversity, identity, culture, and the built environment.
