Jack-Lee-Chinatown-7-.jpgThis program is SOLD OUT.

Regardless of where they live, humans find and create places for play. Join former longtime Chinatown resident
Jack Lee on a walking tour of the alleys and parking lots where he and his friends played games and sports growing up in the district in the 1960’s. The tour concludes at La Colombe for an opportunity to connect with fellow explorers and Lee over coffee. This program begins at the Museum in the HOOPS exhibition.

On-site + Conversation = Insight & Inspiration

Urban Salons illuminate the past, present, and future of the built environment in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The program consists of an interactive site visit led by knowledgeable guides, and a post-tour conversation with fellow explorers in a nearby cafe to share thoughts, insights, and questions about the site visit experience.

$15. Pre-registration required. Space is limited to 15 people. Ticket price does not include food or beverages.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Online registration for this program closes at midnight the day before the program.

This salon is supported by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
