Gain understanding of the inspirations, design processes, successes, and challenges of three of D.C’s most complex, large-scale projects–The Wharf, St. Elizabeths East Campus, and the McMillan historic water purification facility. Hilary Bertsch principal at Perkins Eastman, Maria Casarella, AIA, senior associate, Cunningham Quill and Emily Hotaling Eig, founder and president of EHT Traceries, Inc., share their experiences working as design leaders on these dynamic urban spaces. Ann Neeriemer, AIA, senior associate at Perkins Eastman is the moderator. This program is presented in celebration of Women’s History Month and is part of AIA Northern Virginia's Women in Architecture series.
