Construction Watch Tour: 900 G Street


900GStreet.jpg900 G Street, designed by architecture firm Gensler, is the latest office building in Washington D.C.’s Penn Quarter neighborhood. Raffael Scasserra with Gensler and Will Cox with Davis Construction lead a tour of the nine-story building, which features a floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall system and a two-story lobby finished with marble, and accented by a 20-foot south-facing decorative wall. The project is seeking LEED Gold certification.

Open only to Museum members, $35. Members of The Corinthians and The Builders receive advance registration beginning September 22, by calling 202.272.2448 from 10 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday. General membership registration begins at 10 am on September 29, and will be assigned based on space availability. To upgrade your membership, please contact the Membership Office at 202.272.2448. Please note: most tours require extensive stair climbing. On-site registration is not available.
