For the Greener Good Lecture Series -- Living in a Disposable World: Recycling the Future

As our economy is increasingly supported by products with shorter lifespans, how do we put an end to the continuous growth of landfills? How are engineers creating buildings that use recycled materials and have a small ecological footprint? Can the market bear “cradle-to-grave” products and buildings with a higher price tag? Metropolis magazine’s editor-in-chief, Susan Szenasy, will moderate a panel that discusses our disposable world.
