Greening the World's Capital Cities: Impact of Green Design on Architecture and Public Space

Join us for a discussion with prominent professionals and academics including Diana Balmori, landscape architect and U.S. Commission of Fine Arts member; Laurel Colless, research leader at Virginia Tech and director of the multi-sector Energy Efficiency Partnership of Greater Washington; Richard Moe, president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation; and David Winstead, commissioner of the Public Buildings Service of the U.S. General Services Administration. Our panelists will examine the effect of green design on world-class architecture and public spaces as more cities embrace sustainability.  Practicing architect, educator, and journalist Roger K. Lewis will moderate.
