The National Building Museum invites individual
families to register for the Museum’s Homeschool Day on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. For a description
of the programs offered, click on a program name below.
You must register for each program separately. Pre-registration is required by the end of the day on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Walk-in registration will be available for any programs not filled during pre-registration. You are welcome to register for both a morning program and an afternoon program. If the program you're interested in is sold out, consider gathering a group of homeschool students and registering for a group program.
My House, My Home, 4-6 year olds, 10:30 am to 12 noon
Engineering Egg Drop, 7-9 year olds, 10 am to 12 noon
Water Works, 10-14 year olds, 10 am to 12 noon
Build a Green Roof, 4-6 year olds, 1 pm to 2:30 pm
City by Design, 7-9 year olds, 1 pm to 3 pm
Engineering Egg Drop, 10-14 year olds, 1 pm to 3pm
Each $10 ticket covers one child’s participation in one homeschool program. There is no cost for adults to chaperone the homeschool programs. This program ticket does not include admission to the Museum’s exhibitions.
If families would like to visit the Museum’s exhibitions before or after the Homeschool Day programs, discounted exhibition tickets may be purchased online during pre-registration or on the day of your visit. The cost is $5 per participating student and $5 per adult and/or tag-a-long sibling.
